Services

MAPS has provided a wide range of health and social services to the Portuguese-speaking community since 1970.

Social Services
The Division of Social Services offers a variety of educational programs and other services designed to help community members adjust to American life, manage daily life issues and remain safe from harm. Find out more.

Health Services
The Division of Health Services includes many programs that promote healthy lifestyles and prevent diseases. Find out more.

Other Services
MAPS also continues to provide:

  • Advocacy, leadership and community development services to Portuguese-speaking residents of eastern Massachusetts;
  • Capacity building to other service providers;
  • Full Portuguese/English and English/Portuguese Translation Services, as well as Notary Public Services, at its office at 1046 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02139. For more information, please visit the Cambridge office or call (617) 864-7600.
