The Lowell Office of the Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers (MAPS), located at 11 Mill St., is preparing some special presentations for the Portuguese-speaking community in February and March.
• February 17 – Education on H1N1 Swine Flu, presentation by Elisa Garibaldi from Lowell Community Health Center, starting at 2 pm;
• March 4 – Programs available at the Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, presentation by Alda Rocha, starting at 1:30 pm;
• March 23 – Programs for Public Benefits (who is eligible and what you need to know), presentation by Maristela Tosato, starting at 2 pm.
