MAPS proudly joined the General Consulate of Portugal in Boston, some other agencies and community members to participate in the Day of Portugal Parade, which took place on the streets of Cambridge on June 20.
As part of the Boston Portuguese Festival, a broad series of events to promote the arts, culture and language of Portugal, the Day of Portugal Parade was a fantastic celebration with many colored floats displaying Portuguese traditions and history. The event brought together different generations of Portuguese and Portuguese-Americans, as well as other friends from the community.
