MAPS offers free US Citizenship assistance by appointment on a regular basis in Cambridge, Brighton, Dorchester, Lowell and Framingham. The agency also offers special Clinics for naturalization information and N-400 application assistance.

Project Citizenship

Pre-registration and eligibility screening are required. The citizenship drives are being organized by MAPS as part of  Project Citizenship.

MAPS also provides Citizenship preparation classes and related assistance including civics, history and English instruction to prepare for the citizenship interview, as well as citizenship application assistance.

Educational Program Registration Form

Office Locations: Cambridge, Brighton, Dorchester, Lowell, Framingham

Hours: 8-week classes meet once a week in the evening or on the weekend for two hours.  Citizenship form assistance is also available by appointment during weekday hours.

Cost: N400 application assistance is currently FREE (Money Order in the amount of $725.00 to USCIS for application & biometric fees OR Request for Fee Waiver based on receipt of public benefits OR Request for Fee Waiver based on financial hardship still required); Citizenship course tuition is currently $100 (course materials extra at $25 per student).

Dreamer Loan: MAPS, in partnership with Naveo Credit Union and the Greater Boston Citizenship Initiative, have established the Dreamer Loan, an interest-free loan designed to cover the cost of the naturalization process for eligible clients. Click here for more information about the Dreamer Loan.
